1975 Vintage Go Kart Invader Refurbished Track Ready Sidewinder

This is a 1975 Invader, as identified though old karting ads and vintage karters. It was an incomplete, sad looking yard kart, saved and refurbished. It's been stripped to the bare frame, checked for straightness/squareness. "Rattle can" painted, and the missing parts replaced. In addition, ALL critical parts.....but not limited to, bearings, steering, brakes, chain sprocket and chain, fuel tank, have been replaced with new. The aluminum floor pan is new. The wheels are true Invader, currently running Bridgestone "scuff" tires. Engine is a fresh, run in time only Mac91, with the Mac carb modified to run alcohol/oil mix. Stock bore. It features a full circle crank and some minor porting work, all work done by a well known vintage karter and engine builder from the midwest. A brand new Max Torque clutch with inboard drive delivers the power to a new #35 space chain,sprocket and hub.In full disclosure, I've been told the seat mounts are NOT original style to the year of the kart. And, the upright seat supports were fabbed by me to supply additional strength. Finally, there are 2 small diagonal pieces of steel welded to the bottom of the steering upright for support. If you Buy It Now, I have 2 boxes of additional wheel halves, both bare aluminum, as well as anodized gold. Also, an additional pair of spindles and front hubs, Also include would be an extra set of Bridgestone scuff tires and a brand new set of Dunlops, never mounted.I prefer to NOT ship, pick up from me is best....you can see what you're getting. Delivery to an upcoming vintage kart meet is surely possible, or a "pony express" friend to friend transport.
