Kawasaki z1000st 1980 but registered as a trike in 1992Is motd till 12/7/17 Lovely looking thing I bought from him a friend who owned it a long time now ready to move on to motorbikes now , has 24 miles on the clock as only fitted a speedo last week as I used to use a gprs one. 3 problems I have had but as I relay solely on friends if there are issues as I don't know engines etc which maybe very simple fixes Battery keeping not keeping charge well which I was advised by a garage was something called a rugulater rectifie, i use a trickle charger to solve the problem 3rd gear doesn't sound as good it sounds rattly, but has all the years my friend also owned it but the garage told me it's not a problem and wasn't worth me doing anything about it, it just bothered me now and then at slower speeds there is a metal noise like clinking which is hard to explain, no idea myself but doesnt always do it which is even more annoying
Other than the niggly things mention I take it out every hot weekend it's a lovely little thing! Any questions please ask,great project or if you get these things fixed also lovely as it is
