This buggy has a clear West Virginia title as a 1968 VW. I won this buggy in an raffle drawling but will answer any questions that I can to help you make sure this is the buggy for you. I was told it has a brand new 1600cc VW engine that has the work done to it to make it an 1835cc. Was told that when I won the buggy it had around 50 miles on this engine. I have only driven it maybe 2 miles since then. It seems to need a tune up to me but I am not a VW mechanic.The transmission shifter has been converted to a T-handle style with a push button to operate the reverse lock out. Interior is completely custom built with adjustable seats on both drivers and passengers side4 point harness seat belts installed in both seats in front. Red and black leather seats, and diamond plate floor panels.Marine style radio and speakers with remoteChrome peddles and the gas peddle is a roller peddleCustom build dash with gauges and toggle switchs to control the LED lights, rear lights, custom red engine compartment lights, and an electric fuel pump. Has one of a kind speedo with LED lights. The exterior is painted Viper Red and does have small amount of wear marks here and there.I noticed some cracks in the paint on both corners at top of rear seat. I attempted to get pictures but they are to minor for my camera to pick up.Fuel tank is installed in the front of the vehicle with key access through the chrome lid.4 wheel disk brakes have been installed on buggy and work very well.Included is a roll-bar made for this buggy, that has been powder coated black but never installed on a vehicles.It has American racing 5 star rims. See pictures. Rear are much wider than front. Coil over suspension both front and rear as well as balljoint conversion on front.
