This 1988 250R Fourtrax is in amazing condition for the year, I am the second owner and I have owned it for 28 years. This bike has never been ridden in the mud, it's been a sand only machine. With that said I have done nothing but get on it and ride it for the last ten+ years, so the top end could use a freshen up as it isn't as crisp as it once was. The bike starts and runs good, transmission works flawlessly and the suspension is the most amazing thing you have ever ridden, especially in the whoops.
Mods
This bike has many key aftermarket parts that make it an awesome dune bike, it has the Ella Dune edition front shocks, with the Lonestar +2, +1 chrome front A-arms and front bar, also has a +1,+2 Lonestar rear axle with new RK racing chain and sprockets and the rear Bearing Carrier was also replaced with a heavy Duty double roller bearing unit. Engine is bored one over with a mild port and V-force reeds and a K and N air Cleaner. The front plastics are new OEM within the last 5 years and the rear OEM seat and Plastics are in super nice shape as well. The Tires are all OEM and in near new condition . It also has a Magura hydraulic clutch which is one of my favorite upgrades, makes the clutch so buttery smooth and effortless!I must say it will be hard for me to part with this bike, my friends are in disbelief that I am listing it, but as I am almost 50 it's time to move towards something with a cage
