This is a great quad year 2011 road registered ATV 2x4 & 4x4 Honda Foreman 500cc Registered 01/01/2011 on a 60 plate. These are very good quad bikes and quite sought after. I have just taken this in part ex against another quad. The gentleman purchased this from a military sale a couple of years agoThe plastics are in great condition for year and do not have any major cracks or nasty scuffs to them. obviously they do have some marks to them which can be expected and mainly some blacks marks to them because the bike use to have camoflauge stickers covering it which have been taken off but the black marks are what are left from the stickers so they will clean off and as you can see from the pictures looks decentThe quad features a reverse option and 5 manual foot lever gears all working as they shouldThe quad is a switchable 2x4 2wd & 4x4 4wd and is changed at a switch of a button. This is a beast of a machineThe quad has a flick switch for the iginition and an electric push button start next to it so no key a occasional thing for the military to do and it starts up fine and ticks over nice as can be seen from the video above and drives well with very smooth gear changes to the box. Reverse option also works fine. The quad does not have any oil leaks and does not smoke. The quad has very good front and back brakes and all work, the foot brake also works as it should, hand brake is also in working orderThe quad is sitting on 4 off road, road legal tyres with very good tread to the back tyres but the front ones will need replacing soon The steering & suspension are all good and work as they shouldThe quad has front and rear lights and comes with one key. One of the front lights are working and one is not and the central spot light has been removed and covered over with tape but does not affect the quad at all and only cosmetic and another one can be put in if need be. you can pick them up for a few quidThe digitial display is working perfectly. The neutral, reverse and oil pressure lights all work on it. The hours are only 1500 and mileage is 20000 km's which is nothing for one of theseThe quad also features a tow bar on the back which will pull anythingThe quad has a good sweet engine as expected from Honda, starts on the electric button as can be seen in the video above. The quad has no smoke and no leaks and the engine is as sweet as a nut. It has some cosmetic marks to the plastics etc but mechanically this quad is spot on with a sweet engineThis is a very solid quad bike built very well as expected from honda with a good solid chasis and frame and sound mechanicallyThe make and model speaks for itself it is the honda 500cc Foreman 2x4 & 4x4The original seat looks very goodThe quad is road registered as an agri machine. It is exempt from MOT and TAX is free. I have the new keepers supplement of the v5 logbook but dont have the full logbook as it had to be sent off to the dvla but you can apply for a new one without charge with the new keepers supplement. The quad needs a new number plate also which can be done when you receive the full log book back2 MTH RTB WARRANTYI offer a 2 month return to base warranty against the engine and gearbox so if you have any major issues with the engine or gearbox within 2 months of purchase agreement which is the date you purchase on ebay then you can return the quad bike to us in gloucestershire or south wales for it to be fixed. There will be no refunds. The problem will be fixed, if the problem cannot be fixed beyond ecconomical repair then i reserve the right to replace the quad bike with a simular model. All general items like bearings, brakes, tyres and electrics are excluded from the warranty. The warranty only covers main engine componants and gearbox so you can bid with confidence and piece of mindPLEASE NOTE: The quads i sell are part ex off road vehicles. They are all checked mechanically before they get to me. Engine, gearbox, brakes, suspension and all levels are checked before i offer them for sale by a 3rd party mechanic as i am not a mechanic myself. The quads may have some paint touch ups and may be tidied up in places including frame, racks and other bits. These are off road vehicles so may have wear & tear, scuffs and marks, some things like bearings etc may have very slight play to them and anything with a lot of play or damaged will be replaced. Viewing is advised before bidding. All of the quads i sell start, drive and stop as they should unless otherwise stated in descriptionThe quads i sell are designed to work and will do that perfectly. They are not new quad bikes so please do not expect this. If you want a new one or are expecting a show winning quad then please buy one new from a main dealer.
