For sale is my professionally built D Dan VW Scorpion Trike. Do not mistake this for any home build trike. D-Dan trikes were professional bespoke trike builders who developed and built show winning trikes. This trike was originally built and used primarily to show rather than ride. It was then sold to the previous owner who continued to show the trike but then passed away and the trike stood for many years in his garage before i purchased it. To recommission the trike, i will list the following work that has been undertaken and no expense has been spared with all invoices to verify: Complete re-wire New regulator New dynamo Fuel pump Sump pan set Condenser Points Inlet man rubbers Rear hub oil seal kits Carburettor and gasket seals Crank pulley Rear hub sleeves Gear box input shaft seal Engine crank shaft seal Rear brake shoes Clutch release bearing Split boot kits Oil pressure switch Brake drums V belt New battery New fuel pipe Complete service The trike starts on the button and rides lovely. As you would expect, it has just gone through its Mot with no advisories with an expiry of 20th March 2018. The trike has had £1000's of pounds spent on it to ensure it is mechanically sound. However it is a used trike which will have some signs of cosmetic wear and tear for a trike of this age. I have all the old Mot's which will confirm the extremely low mileage of 1746 miles. Bidders with less than 10 feedback must contact me before bidding or bid will be cancelled. No reserve, highest bid will win.
