Up for bid is my 1989 Honda FL 400 Pilot. I bought this pilot a long time ago for someone else. They drove it once in a parking lot and didn't want it. I've had it in storage ever since. I don't know a lot about it but here is what I do know. Now it's time to sell it. The Pilot starts right up with the electric starter or pull starterIt runs and drives great, brakes work great. This is not a toy! It is very fast and for experienced riders!It has a brand new AGM battery. The engine is not stock. It has Powerhead liquid cooled head Paul Turner pipe with silencer Powerblock clutch, The previous owner told me he just rebuilt it when I bought itI put in 100 octane gas with a 32:1 ratioI have about 15-30 minutes total on itSorry, but I don't know what other work has been done to it but I think I have the original owner's info so you may be able to contact himThere are no leaksIt has been sitting for a long time. Before it is ridden, all fluids should be checked and or changedIt has Works suspension all aroundDouglas aluminum rimsHoleshot tiresThere is a spare belt mounted in the driver's compartment The tool kit is in the front compartment I don't know if it is original I have a clear California title for itIt is registered as a California green stickerThe registration is on Planned Non-Operative which means no late fees to register itIt is not street legal, off road onlyI have both the owners mamual and factory repair manuals for itI was also given a bunch of parts. I think I have the original suspension, carburetor, the head, and some clutch pieces but I'm not sure. There are scratches on the cage. I tried to show them in the photosThe plastic sis perfect, no cracks and only a few small scratches except for the foot area. Someone drilled approximately 10 small holes. I think they tried to put a hood on it. I tried to show this in the photosThe front bumper part of the frame is bent I tried to show this in the photos. The seat is not the original but the pan under it might be. I have never tried to remove it to checkThere may be other things that I'm missing but I will glady answer any questions about it.
