For sale is a home built (100% custom) 400cc 2 stroke go-kart / utv. The frame has independent suspension, all wheel disk brakes, with rear wheel parking brakes. The kart has 2 seats with the driver seat being adjustable. I have installed 2 front driving lights and have the kart wired up for rear brake/driving/reverse lights. The motor and transmission are from a polaris 400 xpress quad. The engine is a 2 stroke and has many proformance upgrades including larger jets, boysen pro 2 stage reeds, custom expansion chamber, and the case was glyptoled on the inside to increase compression. The engine was complelty torn down and rebuilt with all new bearings and gaskets. The head and jug were ported and polished and all casting marks removed from the transfer ports. Along with that a new piston, wrist pin and needle bearings were installed. The engine is liquid cooled and has an electric fan mounted on the radiator. The transmission was torn down and cleaned as well. The kart has high and reverse with the low range option just needing the shift cable hooked up. The utv has a new 13 tooth front and 34 tooth drive sprocket and new 520 o-ring drive chain installed on 11- 24-2016. The air filter is a pod air filter. The exhaust is a custom hydroformed expansion chamber with a motorcycle muffler. The kart runs and drives very well and is fast for its size I was able to get up past 45mph with the ipt tires. The tires in the rear will need a tubeS but they hold air for a while. The fronts have new tubes . The kart uses 93 gas and has an 2 stroke oil pump so you don't have to pre mix. The parking brake system needs a new cable. If you have any questions please ask.2-1-17 update: I have installed a second brand new battery for using the lights and a winch for longer times. 2-22-17 update: the UTV has 2 18w light pods and a 180w led light bar in front for driving now.3-1-2017 update: new stator and performance cdi installed.
