where do i start with this machine!ok so we brought this 2-3 years ago as our old one packed in big time. after a short while the engine blew. we grew a hatred towards the paint, didn't like the dash, electrics started playing up, in short we regretted buying it. it left us with two choices, sell at a huge loss or rebuild from the ground up, which is exactly what we did. so....it has had the following done to it in my ownership.brand spanking new recon engine from vwfull new wiring loom (japanese connectors and block connectors, not dodgy 'soldering' and black tape)fully rewelded chassisgaz shocksnew rear brakesnew paintnew lights all roundnew crash guard/floor, note this isn't a piece of 1mm piece of shiny tube like you get on a boom, if you catch your leg on it, it hurts...very very muchnew brake linesnew cablesnew general grabber tyres, very expensive, rolls royce sizenew alternatorIt has a tow bar with working electrics. I would recommend replacing it as i did catch it and damaged the casing. I would also recommend replacing the front end as I feel it doesn't look right and could do with a bigger tyre for better stopping power. I recommend giving the carb a good tune up as it has stood over winter. It has a nikki webber carb HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER. It has 1973 drum brakes so don't expect modern day abs stopping power. Again it was my plan to upgrade to disk brakes but as i am selling it would now be pointless. It is used, and well at that so yes it has scratches and I live on a dirt track up the mountain so she is always dirty.This machine weighs next to nothing and can wheelie like a monster if you try to go full power before getting used to it. she has enough power to weight ratio, that no throttle is needed to pull off.My reason for sale is i do not have a use for her anymore. I now have a custom vw camper van which the family uses, therefore they don't use this now, and it was purchased for the family. I am a biker, not a triker. I may take part ex depending what toy you have, but i do not want another trike.I am insisting that any interested party views before bidding. if you choose to buy without viewing, i will not take responsibility if it is not what you thought and i will leave bad feedback, and will not cancel the purchase and forget about it. it is used, it is not perfect, it needs tweaking, but it is not a dangerous unreliable dump based on a reliant to get around the road laws. tweaked and maintained you will get thousands of miles out of this.This vehicle is MOTed until February next year and passed with no advisories.I cannot offer a test drive on public roads as it is not taxed and insured.Questions welcome on 07702073162 Again, you bid to buy, not to kick tyres. kick it and I will kick you.
