Relisted due to one being wrecked during the Ebay transaction.... Check my feedback as I made right with the buyer.Up for grabs are these 1986 Yamaha 225DR TriMoto 3 wheelers. The one without the rack is a nice original low hour example. Not being represented as pristine or museum quality, but just a very nice and ready to ride machine. The one with the rack is duplicate of the other but just recently was rolled. Both are very dusty and need cleaned!!These are shaft driven, carburated, 5 speed trans w/ reverse, 223cc, and thumb throttle. Never had them that fast, but I would estimate that they could run about 45mph or so. Ive had one to the end of fourth gear and didnt want to go any faster. They are not small Snoopy kids 3-wheelers. They are adult sized frames with very strong engines and are capable of inflicting harm with no delay if not respected. Both were purchased new by an older couple in Oklahoma county for farm use. They were used one summer and stored in a barn with the oil and gas drained. During the winter, the husband died and the wife let the son take over the farm. They sat inside the barn under cover since that time until my buddy ran across them buying old gas signs and a boat from inside the barn last year. The one without the rack... This is not being represented as perfect, however, this is a nice original and unrestored example. This is a ready to ride, attention grabbing, conversation starting, machine. It is fast. I haven't out of 4th gear but I'd say it probably does 45mph or so. There are some scuffs here and there but nothing major. Grips aren't real bad but I'd replace them. The original tires still have the little nipples on the nubs. I have had new plug, battery, carb kit, oil and filter. I have put maybe 5 hrs of run time on it since then and I like it but I'd rather have a two-seater go-kart with suspension that my son and I can enjoy. The one with the rack.... Same story as above but its been rolled recently. Still runs and moves. Lights still work. Brakes work still. Wasnt a violent wreck, just left in gear and rolled down hill a couple of times. That said, I think the forks are bent. As seen in the pics, There is more space one side of the front tire than the other. Handle bars are bent. Lots of good parts left to restore or to keep yours running. Located just north of OKC. Check the pictures and ask questions. Thanx for looking!!
