Yamaha Kodiak 400 4 x 4 powerful farm quad bike spares or repairHere we have a fantastic opportunity to purchase a great quad bike, which is a really worthwhile project. This powerful quad has been sitting for some time unused and needs a carb clean, new battery and some work to the electrics and general tlc.It is manufactured by the well known Yamaha company. Renowned for making reliable bikes. Parts should still be available from the main dealer or here on eBay.I've had it running on easy start and the engine sounds and runs quite well. The quad features a reverse option and 5 manual foot lever gears with a low and high selector lever to choose between low box and high box
The quad is a permanent 4x4 so great for off road farm terrainYou can fit so many attachments to these machine such as sprayers, seeders, pelleters, snow ploughs. Basically you can use it like a small tractor. The uses are endlessIt has racks back and front and place to put a tow ball for pulling trailers - perfect for feeding livestock and general farm duties It will make a fantastic quad with a bit of tlc. These have loads of power and are known to be very durableA really great project that should be up and running in no time, I just don't have the time.The plastics aren't too bad although the front section is just resting on there and needs screwing down as does the front rack. Tyres all seem to hold air okSo to sum up a great project to tinker with. A really useful quad bike with 4 wheel drive, racks and being 400cc has loads of power. Needs general tlc all over but well worth lavishing the attention on and shouldn't take much to get it up and running with a little know howStarting at a very low start price of just 99p. So grab yourself a bargain.
