This 1967 Volkswagen Dune Buggy is uncut and has the potential to fit 4 people comfortably if you choose to install a backseat, unlike your typical Meyers Manx which the chassis is cut. I had no desire to fit more than 2 people in the buggy so I never added the backseat. It gave me extra space for towels or backpacks, etc. I spent 2 years building this and since I installed the brand new 1600cc dual carb motor, I have only put about 100 miles on it. It has 2 times the power of a stock vw motor. It also contains 12v marine grade wiring, alternator and a 4 speed transaxle transmission. It sits on brand new American Racing wheels with Cooper tires, contains marine grade wires, working lights (brake, blinkers, etc), entire chassis has been cleaned and painted. There is a small blemish in the paint below the rear license plate. I do have the color code if buyer would like to purchase matching touch up paint. New disc brake conversion in front. New gas tank. New clutch.Everything is safe, done right and ready to have fun. Sounds great and has a smooth ride. Definitely an eye catcher!
