He purchased this ATV brand new at our local Polaris dealer here in Cumberland. He stated that the ATV has always been garage kept and he has always maintained the ATV. It shows that it has been very well kept. There are no issues with the plastic, colors, stickers etc on this ATV. I challenge you to find a nicer 1998 Sportsman.I cleaned this unit myself and there are no signs of damage anywhere on the machine. All of the heat tape is still attached to the ATV! The original stickers are in great shape. The ATV shifts perfectly and steers as it should. The winch operates well and the plow is in great shape. The tires are like new. The ATV runs smooth and strong. Our techs looked over the ATV and it needs nothing. One of our techs used to be a Polaris Tech and he said that he has not seen one of these in this great of shape. He checked it out and it is in great shape. The engine has no knocks or valve noises at all. The transmission works in all the settings and the Suspension is in perfect order. The joints have all been regularly greased and maintained. The only thing that I can point out at all is that the winch control is taped on and does not look great. It is operational and no issues, but it does not look too good. The hand brake on the left side is missing the spring that operates the brake lock is not working and he has a rubber band on it. It still works also but it needs a new spring. This is being offered at NO RESERVE and will go to the high bidder. We will call or contact the bidders to make sure you are a serious bidder. Please do not bid unless you are a serious bidder. The machine is not on the showroom floor as it is a no reserve auction. You are however welcome to come in and drive it or take a look at the ATV. We also reserve the right to end the auction at any time to the highest bidder. I welcome out of the country bidders. I have some great international shippers that I can work with to have your bike shipped to you at a very good price. I just sent a motorcycle to Czech Republic for $850. Let me know where you want it to go and I can put it out there for some quotes. As can be expected, ATV shipping is higher. We accept PayPal for the deposit only.
