If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay for longer than any other powersports dealer and when I ran across this really nice Yamaha 600 I snatched it up. These are really unique in the ATV world and I love to ride them.The Yamaha 600 Grizzly was their flagship ATV from 1998 to 2001. They basically took the air/oil cooled 600cc thumper engine out of the XT 600 dirt bike and made an ATV out of it. You can actually FEEL the power strokes getting put to the ground when you nail the throttle. They are "old school" technology like a Harley is old school. They can be maintained and last virtually forever. Far fewer parts to get worn out or break and they put out a TON of power. Easily go faster than you would ever want to go on an ATV and in the winter the engine heat will keep you toasty and no hoses to break or water pumps to fail. Long travel suspension at both ends and McPherson struts up front so they have a really short turning radius. I personally rode one in the mountains outside of Ouray one year and it was a great machine for the high altitude. With the long stroke single cylinder it had tons of power to pull up the long hills and it was amazingly good on gas (tell that to one of your friends on an 850 Polaris that can go 40 miles on a tank) Naturally these have a hitch on the back to pull a trailer and racks front and rear. Yamaha's are ultra reliable and this is no exception. It would make a great snow pusher and already has a winch so for about $350 more you could have a plow for those March snow storms. I just had it tuned and serviced and it is ready to go. I am listing it for less than half of what it sold for new at $3195.
