$10.00 = FREE TO A GOOD HOME !! This is a great little quad bike and has been used since I bought it on EBAY 7 years ago.  It's a LEI MOTO 2007 model 250cc bike that takes an adult without any trouble.  It has been used once a month to get me around a regional aerodrome in central Victoria.  It has not been thrashed and has been serviced each year. It has never let me down - I have not even changed the spark plug! All that I have needed to replace was a clutch cable and the battery !!It has electric start, 4 forward gears and reverse. The drive train, gear box and engine are all in perfect working order.  I have never touched the brakes and they work perfectly.  Starts first time everytime and used 98 octane unleaded fuel. I bought the bike back to Melbourne to clean it up to sell, and that is when the electrical problems became clear.  I cannot fix them as I do not have the necessary knowledge. The electrics started to smoke when I started up the bike so I turned it off and started to investigate the problem areas. Some of the wires had worn through their outer casing (from the stop light switch on the front brake) and caused a short that melted the wiring. I have discovered that the bike needs re-wiring - hopefully you can see the damaged areas that I have discovered. I will be happy to show the interested buyer what I have taken apart so far - its only the outside cowls that need to be put back on.  Pick up will be no earlier than Sunday 5 March.
