Yamaha Raptor 660 with 2009 180+ HP Yamaha R-1 Transplant - Professional Build 1 of a kind sand monster!Put your legs around this thing push the throttle and your be grinning ear to ear, sounds AMAZING too. This is custom built 3rd generation machine. Use on the dunes as a fully functional and reliable ATV that will eat almost any build on the sand, drag race, use in the dirt or make it street legal where street ATV's are allowed. We have built over 15 of these over the years so this is not a back yard budget build. We started with the underpowered GSXR 600's then when to a very fun and impressive 750, then most recently we did this ground up ultimate 180+ reliable HP Yamaha R1 transplant. This is a titled 2001 Yamaha 660 Raptor with a 2009 Fuel injected Yamaha R-1 Motor with only 1500 miles on it. This build started with a fully custom built frame then was powder coated hammer fire engine red. The rear has a swingarm that was professionally extended 12" and also powder coated to match, it also has a 3" extended rear axle made by Dura Blue. Front end has Houser 2.5" extended A Arms with 2014 YFZ shocks. Year after year we have applied improvements that have made the frame stronger and better handeling. We have many hours invested and lots of dollars. I am selling this because I no longer live near the dunes and I'm quite bummed because I never got to ride this Bad Boy in the sand. I do have mounted street tires and mounted 14 paddle rear wheels and tires and front sand tires as well, these alone were over $700, I have seen similar quality Raptor/R1 swaps sell for $8000 to $12,000 but when it comes down to it the value is in the eye of the beholder. Could use minor sanitizing in regard to the wiring, Custom Flashed ECU $500 and gauge cluster need to be permanently mounted. See my feedback and bit with confidence.
