up for auction is a 1985 Yamaha tri z 250 atc. I don't know the history o this machine as it was purchased in a lot from an estate. when I got the machine it was locked up, I took the engine completely apart and rebuilt it with a fresh bored cylinder with a wiseco piston kit and a oem crank and rod assembly that was used but in spec. all new gaskets and crank bearings and crank seals were as well and yamabond to seal the case halves. only mistake I made was on the clutch, I test rode the machine yesterday after some heat cycles on the stand and noticed the clutch is slipping,an head pipe exhaust gasket isn't sealing all the way, not sure if the frictions are shot or I made a mistake on set up. machine runs great andgoes through all the gears fine but I like to be very descriptive of what im selling and I will also discount the reserve due to clutch issue. fuel system was also completely taken apart and cleaned. as well as front and rear brakes were flushed and bled. headlights and tail light work tires are original but have dry cracks as seen in pics but hold air fine fenders are original but faded and rear fender has cracks that have been epoxied.air filter and spark plug is brand new also have another seat for it and oem muffler and a nos master cylinder guard that has never been mounted. machine is a very nice "rider" or"survivor" that could be restored out the rest of the way. pics don't do the chassis justice its all so clean and original looking, not all spray painted and greased up. machine is being sold as is with no warranties or returns. I reserve the right to end auction early due to being for sale locally as well. $250.00 non refundable deposit via pay pal is due within 24hrs of auction end and remainder paypal or cash in person. shipping is the buyers responsibility and machine must be picked up within 7 days of auction end unless other arrangements are made in advance. I also forgot to mention that a spare clutch cover andwater pump assembly that is in good shape. and the suspension is in good working order front and back and right fork seal is just barely weeping. please note, there is no title for this machine, but I will write you a receipt ifyou request
