I purchased this Yamaha Zuma Scooter brand new in February 2006 out of the warehouse while still in the factory crate. It was unboxed, loaded up in my truck and delivered straight to my shop without ever having the dealer predelivery service done. It is literally brand new. All I did was dust it off for the photos. Because the dealer did not do the predelivery service it has never had any gas put in it and has never been started. It is recommended that the buyer take it to your local Yamaha dealer and have the predelivery service done, and I would guess it may need a new battery by now. When you or the dealer's service department fires it up it will be the first time it's ever been started. The mirrors are still in the boxes, and the tools, owner's manual, etc., are still in the factory bags under the seat. The clear plastic protective peel off is still on the speedometer lens as seen in the photos. The odometer shows just 0.4 miles from pushing it from the warehouse to my truck, and from my truck into my shop.Why did I buy this Yamaha scooter and never use it? I bought two of these as pit bikes and used one of them (still have it) and kept this one as a spare and never needed it. I don't have a race car anymore so I have decided to let someone else enjoy this popular never used new Zuma piece of history.
