Welcome to my listing for my 2016 Can Am Outlander XMR 1000.This Can Am Outlander XMR 1000 is in excellent condition and has loads of upgrades! Read below for full info. I’m selling due to a change in circumstances, I can no longer afford to keep this incredible bike! It has full warranty until August 2019 and I will give the buyer a full set of original invoices and contact details for my dealer. It has less than 40 hours / 450 miles on the clock. It was bought in the UK from a dealer near Leeds in August 2016. I am the original and only owner of this bike. It is agri-registered on a ’66’ plate and has the official Can Am road kit installed. I also opted for the genuine Can Am heated grip set which let you control your hands and throttle thumb temperatures separately. The 2016 Cam Am Outlander XMR 1000 comes with a factory WARN winch and steel rope. I’ve swapped this rope for a genuine WARN synthetic rope which I personally prefer. I also swapped the roller fairlead to a genuine WARN hawse fairlead. Neither are shown in the pictures but I can assure you they are there. I’ve used the winch 3-4 times. It works very well but has had little use. The whole rope is in very good condition.I’ve fitted the full Ricochet aluminium underbody armour to this Can Am. I ordered some Manta Green paint from America and had it power coated to match the rest of the highlights on the bike. I still have about half a bag left over so this paint is included if the auction winner wants it. When the armour was fitted, we put stainless steel fixings all around and made sure there are no rattles or annoying noises. While I was under the bike I swapped the tie rods for a stronger set. I forget the name of the tie rods I put on, but they are a lot stronger than the stock ones. I bought these from OHG Quads. I also fitted a Can Am Maverick belt which is meant to be much stronger. I can’t really tell the difference but it is working very well. From day 1, the bike suffered from exhaust heat issues. I was told it was something to do with the emission laws in the US, and how the bikes have to run. This made up my mind to change the exhaust for an HMF Swamp Series blackout slip-on. This came with a fuel controller and since fitting, the bike no longer suffers from overheating at the rear end. It has made such a difference!I’ve upgraded the bumper corners from the stock plastic ones to some milled aluminium ones. I replaced all four corners and these are much stronger. Aesthetically you can’t tell much of a difference unless you feel them. They are solid and are less susceptible to breaking when caught.Lastly, there is a SUPER BRIGHT LED light bar which I’ve mounted to the radiator housing. The bracket was custom made and involved no drilling or modification of the radiator housing. It used original holes and bolts to fit. The light bar is a Laser Triple-R 1000 Elite and cost me £480. It isn’t a cheap overseas bar - it is seriously high quality and seriously bright.Overall this bike and it’s accessories has cost me over £18,500. I’m taking a huge financial hit on this but I suppose that is what happens when you buy new.If you would like to see this bike in person then that can definitely be arranged. Please ask any questions you have and I’ll be happy to answer them. Thanks!
