1985 Suzuki LT50I have had the little bike around 5 years. I have done a lot of work to it to make it run and keep it going since then. It is an older tired machine but still runs and brakes work.Aftermarket top end paid $45 a few years agoAftermarket carburetor ( I have the original but it has a lot of corrosion ) This aftermarket carb from China (paid $20 for it) does not seem to allow the bike to get enough fuel. The bike wants to slow down or cut off after riding a minute or 2. You start it again and it runs fine. It seems to starve out of fuel. We have adjusted it to no avail. It is what it is. The fuel tank has a rust holes in it so I attached a PW50 gas tank to the front with an inline shut off valve. Tires, bearings, plastics, all are worn but functionalRattle can blue paint on the plasticsIt is getting harder to start without assisting it with carburetor cleaner This is a no frills as is machine.
