1997 HONDA TRX300TM 2WD MANUAL Hi I have for no reserve auction my 1997 Honda TRX300 2wd manual quad bike, I have had this quad for about 6 years and have done very little with it as it was just a spare and has been sitting in the shed not getting used. It starts and runs very well but runs a little rough at higher revs, not sure why but probably from sitting around not getting used, it has a 5 speed gearbox with 1 reverse gear that operates very well, all running gear is in very good condition and the bike rides very well and is still very straight, front brakes are also in very condition. Prior to parking it up in the shed I spent a fair bit of money on it getting everything repaired and this includes # Top end motor rebuild (done approximately 5 hours on rebuild) # New valve stem seals # Front ball joints # Front bearings # Front A arm bushes # New carby # New canvas seat cover # New battery about 2 months ago Bad points include; # Running a little rough at higher revs # Back brakes not working # Head lights not working # Few cracks here and there in plastics as expected with a bike of this age (as per pictures) This bike is not perfect but is a very reliable starter (as Hondas are) and can still be used as it is, just probably needs a tune up and a good ride. I’m selling this bike with no reserve and AS IS WHERE IS condition so viewing and test ride is more than welcome.
