Most new or like new Honda ATCs are traded quietly between a few serious collectors and are never offered for public sale. I have owned hundreds of Honda ATCs over the years and have always specialized in super low hour originals. I have looked over this particular ATC front to back, top to bottom, and can honestly say that it is one of the best if not the best original example in existence. Not only was this ATC hardly used but just as importantly it was stored perfectly, in the right climate, away from the elements. When I offer something for sale I never use terms such as; mint, time capsule, brand new…etc. Most would consider this ATC all of the above but I will let the pictures do the the talking. I also must mention that it has never been detailed. I simply and carefully hand washed it with warm soapy water. There is still some dust in some nooks and crannies but I will leave a full detail up to the new owner if they choose to do so. This auction will most likely be the closest we can/will come to turning back the clock to 1985, walking into your local Honda dealer, and buying yourself a brand new 1985 Honda Big Red. It is 100% original except for the air filter, oil filter, and battery. Nothing on the ATC has ever been touched up, painted, restored, or replaced, and it still has the factory ‘honda shine’ throughout. The tires are incredible with no signs of dry rot or weathering. It is 100% functional, starts with the slightest push of the start button, and all switches/controls work as they should.If you have any questions that were not discussed above or below, please feel free to call me directly at 732-772-5545.
