2002 Polaris Octanerare factory race preparedVictor Sheldon's '03-'04World Championship race skistill has a certificate of origin fromPolaris to Victor SheldonIf you are reading this ad you already know how rare and fast these ski's are.Let alone this one, that has been specially prepared with a custom madehead (one-off?), 48mm Buckshot carbs and dual feed pick-upThe only thing I am aware of that has been changed is the total-lossignition was removed for stock ign. for reliability.These ski's came from the factory ready to race in stock or limited class, out-of-the-box.With a 777cc, 40mm Keihin carbs and a factory B-series pipe they made 100hp, this one surely makes more power, it had no trouble out-running a stock one.They also came equip with a Magnum Aggressor pump, a high performance, axial flow,single stage, 140mm pump with 12 vane stainless stator, stainless impellor and interchangable nozzle ring.The pump on this ski appears to be reworked a bit and it has adjustable trim nozzle installed on it as the way it was raced. It also has the UMI racing steering system, handle bars and light- weightshortened handle pole for better center of gravity, as originally raced.For those that are seriously interested, ask questions and I can alsoemail a video of start-up and run.Local pick-up is always welcome, but I will ship if required.I will pallet and crate for free with BIN price,and ship to you depot collect.
