Up for auction is a 1 year made only 1958 sears allstate deluxe model puch moped. It shows some surface rust on chrome tank and areas of frame and fenders with inside the tool boxes some rust down by the hinges and need oiled to open doors on tool boxes. Inside the gas tank is solid and clean with real light surface rust in a couple spots. Its missing some parts like seat, glass headlight, carburetor, hand lever, peddles, but I do have 1950's peddles and peddle arms that will go with the moped off a different model. The engine I have been spraying penetrating oil down cylinder and will see if engine will free up as moped sat outside a few years. Badge on frame reads serial # 810.94250 with miles on speedo 1,330. Some of the hand lever cables are stuck like clutch cable and throttle cable other cables I think are free and okay. It is a deep red color and original paint still looks fair with some spots need clean up of surface rust starting. The wheels are chrome and in mint condition that will come with vintage condition white walls that will hold air. The rear tail light is original glass but has a crack and I was told can get reproduction glass for these. This was sears most expensive model to buy that year and has the factory tool boxes mounted on rear fender made to look like saddle bags. The front fender is a half moon fender with a chrome fender tip mounted to front top tip just needs polished. These are rare to find and this one would be a great start to restore or leave original and get engine running again to put back on the road again. I do not have a title and I will take some time to see if engine will free up or would need head pulled and piston cleaned up before would turn over free again and will add a revision in description in a day or 2 so buyers will know.
