Up for sale is my very nice and well maintained (mechanic owned) 2005 YFZ450 special edition. Upgrades include: FMF core 4 full exhaust system with fresh packing in the muffler (loud system but the exhaust note is amazing), high output stator (stock charge systems are weak on these units), HID headlights, EHS Racing airbox lid, Quik Shot 2 accelerator pump mod. The 450 breed is plagued with "the bog" which is where the machine will fall on its face when the throttle is stabbed from idle. This machine does not do this. I spent an inordinate amount of time tuning this machine and have a bag full of OEM jets of various sizes both directions of stock to prove it as well as a box of spark plugs to show the progression (still good and go with the sale). Tires are about 40 to 50 percent tread remaining. I do not ride this bike anymore thanks to having young kids and nowhere close to ride a loud "race bike". It is paid for, runs fine, I dont care if it sits another decade so please no low ball offers. Local Pickup only, I cannot ship and cannot meet half way.
