This is an Aktiv St-4 Snow Trac. These were made in Sweden and Aktiv produced about 2300 of them. They weigh about 2400 lbs and is 6' wide and 11' long. They are powered by a VW aircooled type 1 motor and VW transmission, it drives just like a car. I have used this for the last 4 winters towing my kids around, snow camping and general exploring. I've had so much fun with it I bought another one so will sell this one. It runs and drives great. It needs a welding repair to the drivers side boogie carrier. I could have our local shop fix it if needed. It will drive as-is but I would fix it before I took it too far. The repair is fairly simple, I just don't weld. I don't know the year but I'd guess about 1978. It has the larger front wheel and disk brakes. It's real easy to load and unload and have yet to get it stuck. It will go about 18mph but I usually go about 10mph in it. These are dependable, capable snow machines and are hard to find. This one is located in Oregon. Dual axel trailer is available if needed.
