PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: The quads i sell are part ex off road vehicles. They are all checked mechanically before they get to me. Engine, gearbox, brakes, suspension and all levels are checked before i offer them for sale by a 3rd party mechanic as i am not a mechanic. The quads may have some paint touch ups to racks, frame and other bits. These are off road vehicles so may have some age related marks and expected wear and tear, If in doubt please view before bidding. There will be some scuffs and marks to the plastics etc but all quads start, drive and stop as they should unless otherwise statedThe quads i sell are designed to work and will do that perfectly. They are not new quad bikes so please do not expect this. If you want a new one or are expecting a show winning quad then please buy one new from a main dealerThis is a good 2009 ATV road registered 2x4 2WD quad Honda TRX 420cc which is being sold as spares or repairs because of a small problemThese 420's are definately the best models honda has ever done. it has superb power of the 500 engine and the size of a 350 so has the best of both worlds. absolutely superb engines and will pull anythingThe quads main plastics are good only some marks which can be expected and mostly to the front The quad features a reverse option, and it has a 5 speed foot lever gears. There is a problem with the quad bike in that it is quite tricky to get into neutral but does eventually go in if you keep trying but cannot get it into reverse gear which is run on the same gear as neutral so i think there is a slight issue with the selector but i am no mechanic. I have just taken this in part ex against a newer quad bike so am selling as it is although i dont think it will take much to sort outThe quad bike starts first time off the electric button and ticks over beautifully with a very good engine as you can see from the video aboveThe quad has an electric push button start and also a backup pull startThe quad is very powerful and rapid and has lots of pulling powerThe quad has good front and back brakesThe quad is sitting on 4 very good off road tyres with plenty of treadThe steering & suspension are all good and work as they shouldThe quad has front and rear lights however the switch to turn the lights on is missing so currently no lights but will easily be sorted with a new switch, these were working perfectly before button brokeThe quad also features a tow bar on the back which will pull anythingThe quad has a good sweet engine as expected from honda, starts on the button and sounds sweet and quiet, very clean which can be expected from a 2700 hours quad from new which is nothingThe quad drives superb and very responsive and gear changes are smoothThe make and model speaks for itself it is the TRX model 420cc Manual which has the best of both worlds. Has the power of the 500 engine and the size of a 350cc quad bike giving it excellent performance and power
 The seat is excellent with no damageThe quad is road registered as an agri machine which means it is exempt from MOT and tax is free, i have just had to send off the v5 but will forward this onto the new keeper as soon as i receive it back from DVLA. You are bidding to buy the quad not to view after winning. If you are in any doubt about anything please come and view before bidding ends as the winning bidder will be bound by contract to complete the sale if not viewed before bidding. Pictures can sometimes be deceiving.Anyone is more than welcome to come and view the quad and test drive it for as long as they like and you are more than welcome to bring any mechanic to check over it before auction endAll quads are sold with no warranty implied or given as they are used offroad working vehicles between 5-20 years old. All quad bikes will be listed on an auction style format and are sold as a trade sale with no warranty but you are more than welcome to come and inspect, test drive and bring a mechanic to check any quad bike. This is normally between the hours of 9 A.M -5 P.M Monday - Friday (We are out on saturdays and sundays delivering and collecting new quads so are unavailable during weekends) Viewing is highly recommended before bidding
