Hello all. Up for sale is a 1984 Honda ATC70. These are becoming very hard to find and even harder to find in running/rideable condition. This is a very good example of a restomod (restored / modified) ATC70. I built the ATC for my wife and to promote my track. She rode it twice and I hate to see it sit. This was not built to sit in a show room. It was built to ride and enjoy for adults and kids. I completed the build about 4 months ago.The chassis/forks was completely stripped and painted satin black. All new bearing and seals in the fork stem. All new rear axel bearings and seals.The wheels are original. Completely stripped and powder coated gloss black. New seals, stems, and new tires.The fuel tank was completely stripped of rust. The tank was treated with Por15 for years of rust free prevention. The tank was professionally painted. There is a dent on the tank. I didn't fix it. For some reasons most ATC70's have this dent on top of the tank. The seat is comfy and new. The rear fender was trimmed. This is a common mod and it looks good. The rear fender was cracked near the seat. I plastic welded it. I then painted the rear fender to match. The 32 year old rear fender plastic didn't care for the plastic weld and the paint has cracked. Its not a deal breaker but I want to be as detailed as possible so there are no surprises. The original motor was shot. I swapped in a XR motor with a fresh piston and cylinder. This is a much better upgrade. This gets rid of the old points motor and pull start that aways brakes. Its kick start now. Almost always starts on the first kit and runs like a champ. Completely serviced (oil, spark plug, air filter, etc). New chain and sprockets. I also installed a billet aluminum chain guard. The rear axel spacers, hubs, and drum cover were also painted with hight quality satin black.I installed Pro Taper handle bars with new grips. It makes riding so much more comfortable. New rear brake lever.I installed new Spanglers foot pegs. A great upgrade. Aluminum shifter.New ATC70.com exhaust. Sounds and looks awesome.XR70 front number plate.Aluminum grab bar.New extended throttle cable.Im sure I'm missing some upgrades. All in all this bike was completely rebuilt with tasteful mods. Its a blast to ride and runs great. Its not perfect (but near) so you won't feel bad riding this piece of history. Im located in Orlando FL. Im really not looking to ship but i would consider it as my full asking price. Shipping is on the buyers dime. This is a great deal considering what all of these parts, the bike, and time invested costs. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
