Engine Size: 200 Model Year: 1977
Fuel Type: Gas w/oil injection

My Vespa P200e scooter is in very good, mostly original condition, with 10,688 miles. I am the second owner. It is currently registered, and it runs great. It was very easy to learn to ride and has been the source of many good times. Over the years, I've gotten into higher-speed riding on larger motorcycles and the P200e has gone mostly unridden. It's in great shape and I wouldn't hesitate to ride it 100 miles or more, right now. The engine is a 200cc 2-stroke, with a Sito Plus exhaust and larger main carburetor jet, for improved midrange performance. It is kick start-only, shifts manually via the left grip and mixes oil from a reservoir into the carb (no pre-mixing). Power is probably around 12hp, so slightly more than stock, but by no means hot-rodded. Top speed on flat ground is about 60 mph, and hillclimbs require downshifting.- Professionally repainted Spring, 2014; very small chips in paint around front brake lever and left rear fender
- Seat re-covered and footrest and pedal rubber replaced this year, along with mudflap
- Wiring for brake light went bad three years ago. Neutral light wiring was repurposed to connect the brake levers to the brake light, resulting in good brake light but no neutral light. Neutral is easy to find/feel, even without the light.
- Sito Plus exhaust, upjetted carb, piston replaced at approximately 3,000 miles
This is a very fun scooter I've had for many years. I put nearly 10k miles on it in the first few years I owned it and have always been impressed by its reliability. It's not quite fast enough for most highways, but is great for zipping around town, through cities, and over back roads.
