This week I found this very nice Yamaha Big Bear with a winch and a snow plow already attached (about $800 to $1000 savings if you were going to install one)The Yamaha Big Bear is legendary in its ability and durability. It was Yamaha's flagship machine for 8 years and about all that anyone bought in the Midwest that had any knowledge of ATV's. This particular model year is the last year that Yamaha put high/low range on this model (due to cost) and is known as "one of the good ones".  Tons of power. Start in the coldest weather (and I put in a new battery) and this machine has 70% left on the tires and is in great shape. It has a huge 60" blade so can really do some pushin' and anyone in the know has figured out the Big Bear was one of the all time best snow pushers. Unlike ANY other ATV ever built-you can go from any forward gear to reverse with the lever on the left side of the engine. You don't have to push through the gears to get to neutral-power forward in 3rd. Stop, push on the brake and put in reverse. You are in 3rd gear again for your next swath down the parking lot-a real time saver. This has the 5 speed transmission with an auto clutch so it the most bulletproof setup for work. It allows you to choose the gear you need or want-but stop in any gear since it has a clutch that automatically disengages. This clutch is bathed in oil so unlike your fully automatic Polaris that will chew a belt over time-this Yamaha has almost no wear doing pushing/pulling jobs.
