For sale is my 2008 Ski-Doo GSX Limited 600 H.O. SDI. The sled has 7,064 miles on it, all trail miles in Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. I bought the sled two years ago and am the second owner. I have all service documents and records from the previous owner and myself. It was registered in Wisconsin by the PO and used on trails only in Northern Michigan the last two years. The GSX 600 was regarded as one of the best trail sleds out there and my experience with it was awesome. The limited package comes with quite a few bonuses:- electric start with reverse, 12V power outlet, heated shield plug, premium gauges with tons of information, heated grips- full cover for it and a +1 seat that attaches quickly if you want to go 2-upI've done the basic maintenance: cleaned the carbs, put in a new battery last year, the set of Woody's carbides and hyfax only have about 300 miles on them. Plugs were put in new last year and I have several extra ones I'll bring with me.I also decided to try my hand at Plastidip, as I didn't love the gray side panels on a red and black sled. I dipped the side panels and windshield, and I loved the look of it. However, Plastidip peels off and I can remove and return it to stock form if you like. The Plastidip has held up fairly well in the limited riding I did last year. There was nothing wrong with the gray panels, so if you decide to peel it off you'll just have the stock panels there. The best part about the sled is that I gave it a whole new back end before last season. I've upgraded the rear shock with a brand new $520 OEM shock package (part #850200888, HPG clickers, adjustable and rebuildable). I also upgraded the track to a Camoplast Ripsaw II, fully studded with Studboy studs and SuperLite backers. The studs and backers alone would cost you $400. The track is in like new condition and is a massive upgrade -- this thing tracks straight as an arrow through corners and really handles well. Please research the SuperLite backers - you'll find universally positive reviews about their light weight, durability and especially traction control. Both the rear shock and track were professionally installed at Orr Motorsports. The only issues to note as far as the condition is a small crack on the upper console (pictured), which was the result of a low hanging branch sticking out into the trail when I was riding in Munising two years ago. It does not affect the fitment of any panels and I don't anticipate it to be an issue at all. The other thing is the little yellow heated thumb grip switch popped off at the end of last season - didn't break just popped off and I do have it (pictured).I'm asking $3800 OBO for the sled. Your most expensive maintenance (new track/rear shocks) is already taken care of and you're set for years with those. The 600 Rotax engine is bulletproof (a dootalk.com search will turn up plenty of results with guys getting 10k miles out of them before a refresh) and the cylinders have been on the money each time I've tested psi.Do not let the 600cc's fool you -- the sled weighs about 440 lbs dry and is very quick from a stop. It's smooth, light and controllable, and it rails the corners. Please contact Jake via email or text. I live in Columbia City, IN but store and ride the sled in Indian River, MI. If you're interested, I will have to make a quick trip up north to bring it back.
