For sale is a 2011 John Deere Gator XUV 855D 4x4 diesel side by side. It has 618 hours and starts and runs great. It has a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. This unit does have issues that need addressed though, but none of them require any type of major mechanic work in my opinion. The first issue is the engine is leaking coolant from around the middle freeze plug which has emptied the coolant reservoir. It looks like it will be easy to get to for fixing with minimal things from the engine having to be removed. The second issue is that it is going to need new ball joints and a-arm bushings. I put a brand new tie rod on it the other day and noticed that there was significant play in the a-arm bushings and the ball joints. Lastly, the gator does have cosmetic issues. It was too close to a building that caught fire and it sustained damage. It has melted and distorted some of the plastic on the left side of the machine. This is not an insurance buyback or auction find. This unit was bought new at Middletown Tractor in Fairmont, WV in 2010. Also, the left fender has a hole in it and there is a bolt broken off in the bed. These are minor issues that have not effected how the machine runs in any way. It starts right up but may need glow plugs as the days get cooler. It comes with an extra set of John Deere wheels and tires. I do not have all the center caps for the wheels. It also has a winch, but I cannot get it to work. The XUV is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel bids and end the auction if it sells before it ends here on EBAY. As always, I recommend inspection in person.
