KLF300B 2 Wheel Drive Quad.Quad in good condition, starts on the button and runs well. Recent service including fuel tap kit and new Carb gaskets. Only been run on Aspen Fuel (google to see how brilliant this stuff is) semi synthetic oil and genuine Kawasaki parts for service. Had machine 3 years and in this time, replaced Starter Motor, Battery, Rear Brakes, Rectifier (known issue) and a couple of rubber bushes. The rear tyres are good, fronts low but will include 2 brand new tyres just not had time to get fitted. Will also include workshop manual.For the last three years machine has had very little use, annually at a local show as convoy leader for tractor run and about once a month to empty small muck trailer using very local roads and field. Has warning lights fitted which along with the normal lights all work fine. Tow ball fitted but easy to remove if you need the pin fixing.Bodywork ok, its around 15 years old so expect usual scratches from bushes but it still scrubs up well.We acted as convoy leader to a recent Tractor run, ended up about 12 miles mostly road and the quad ran perfectly. really sad to let it go but just not using enough.Possibly Obvious but, collection or local delivery only (if you want it delivered then a deposit via paypal required)The Honest bits.1. Can only be off road as not road legal, looked at cost and just not worth it, Before we moved it was only used across fields to empty a muck trailer2. Reverse light bulb has blown - have spare bulbs, again not got around to it3. Front Brakes do not work, the calliper's are seized, since rear brakes work, I have not thought it necessary, It will need calliper re-build kit and possible master cylinder kit and pads. priced parts on ebay at £80.00. If I can find it, I did get the master cylinder kit but not seen since we moved, I will include it if found)4. Quad was bought from American air base, so never had any uk paperwork with it, another reason making it road legal could be a pain5. Brake light not working, maybe bulb but as off road never bothered6. Diff lock cable seized (I think), as lever makes no difference, I have used this in snow and muddy conditions and never had the need to even think about the diff lock, hence why never done anything about it. the 5 forward and one reverse all work as expected and diff quiet, so a minor issue.7. Speedo not working, suddenly stopped a few months ago, again really not an issue as not used on road, suspect just a cable if you feel the need!As you can see, very little issues but being as honest and genuine as possible. It needs to go to a working home, I use it so infrequently its a waste of a good machine.Cash on collection - please come and look at, try before you buy (no joy seekers) we live in a quiet lane so a short test drive is possible (although not technically legal, so at your own risk). I can deliver within 20 miles at a small cost if required.
