PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: The quads i sell are main dealer part ex off road vehicles. They are all checked mechanically before they get to me. Any obvious things are replaced, they may have some new paint touch ups to racks, frame and other bits. These are off road vehicles so may have some age related marks and expected wear and tear, If in doubt please view before bidding. There will be some scuffs and scrapes to the plastics etc but all quads start, drive and stop as they shouldThe quads i sell are designed to work and will do that perfectly. They are not new quad bikes so please do not expect this. If you want a new one or are expecting a show winning quad then please buy one new from a main dealerThis is a very good 1998 ATV offroad 4x4 4WD quad Honda Big Red 300cc. These early hondas are built very strongly and are like tanks. This one is in great condition for its yearThe quad features a reverse option, and it has a 5 speed foot lever gears with a permenant 4wdThe quad has an electric push button startThe quad is very powerful The quad has good front and back brakes The quad is sitting on 4 good off road tyres with good treadThe steering & suspension are all good and work as they shouldThe quad has front and rear lights and the quad comes with one keyThe quad also features a tow bar on the back which will pull anythingThe quad has a good sweet engine as expected from early honda, starts on the button and sounds sweet and quiet, very clean and a great example for the year. Probably one of the cleanest eraly honda quad bikes i have seen. Normally the plastics are all cracked and tanks all rusted but this one is very goodThe quad drives great and very responsive and gear changes are very smooth and starts first time from cold or when warm and ticks over fine after warmed up The make and model speaks for itself it is the early honda Big Red model 300cc Manual which has plenty of power
 The quad has an original seat which is very good without damageThe quad is all ready for work or play it starts, stops and drives.The best thing about these early hondas is if it is looked after it is only ever going to go up in value because these are getting collectors pieces now especially in this condition, this will also prove to be an excellent investmentThe quad is not currently road registered but you can easily do this if you wanted. I am told you just need to contact the manufacturer and obtain a certificate of newness from them, then insure the quad and apply to DVLA to register it. I have never done one myself so am not totally sure but this is what i have been told. You are bidding to buy the quad not to view after winning. If you are in any doubt about anything please come and view before bidding ends as the winning bidder will be bound by contract to complete the sale if not viewed before bidding. Pictures can sometimes be deceiving.Anyone is more than welcome to come and view the quad and test drive it for as long as they like and you are more than welcome to bring any mechanic to check over it before auction end.Viewing is by appointment only. This is normally between the hours of 9 A.M -5 P.M Monday - Friday (We are out on saturdays and sundays delivering and collecting new quads so are unavailable during weekends) Viewing is highly recommended before bidding
