Our Arctic Cat 700 Diesel Quad Bike for auction.
This bike has had relatively light use, being used mainly for carrying hay/feed and has performed admirably. It is now however surplus to requirements. We have looked after the bike very well, it has been stored in a dry barn and serviced approx every two-hundred (ish) miles (or at least every six months). The bike is very low mileage, less than 2500 miles, and is in great condition.
It has been a great bike, very capable and torquey. My understanding is that this is the only diesel quad bike on sale, and we chose it for this very reason. Moreover, it is a genuine two-seater, which is very useful and a big benefit over 'standard' size quad bikes. Enormous fuel tank (approx four gallons I think) which will last for weeks even with daily use. Handy also if you have access to red diesel for off road use.
Mechanically and electrically the bike is great. 700cc water-cooled diesel engine runs excellently with plenty of torque. Gears (high/low/reverse), 4wd/2wd selector, and front differential lock, all work. Lights/indicators/horn/speedo all work. This quad bike is factory fitted with a Warn winch which is very handy. I also have the removable wing-mirrors which are included in the sale.
We had the bike fully serviced in May 2016, and have only ridden around 5 miles since. At the service it had four new off-road tyres, engine oil and filter change, gearbox and differential oil change, and fuel filter and air filter change. The dealer advised that the tyres are the best around and will last for many thousands of miles, and so the bike should be good for many years with just the usual oil-changes etc.Please feel free to ask if you have any questions and I shall do my best to answer.
