For the 49cc, Motoped actually commissioned Lifan to build this motor with a special 2 speed automatic transmission, which you will not find anywhere else.  Lifan is the "King" of the Honda clone engines.  If your new to the powersports world, this is basically the same engine honda has used in their famous Z50 and CT70 since the 1960s.  The motor is used today in the CRF50, and several others in the Honda line up.  This is probably the most produced powersports motor of all time - Its very easy to work on and has tons and tons of aftermarket parts available.
