This machine is the top-of-the-range 23 horsepower model and must not to be confused with the far more commonly available and much cheaper 16 or 18 horse models. This one has a good deal more power when you need it.
It is in perfect working order having done less than 300 hours and having been lovingly maintained throughout our ownership and kept garaged when not in use. The specially constructed front carrier is shaped to take a large red stag carcase off the hill without it continually falling off - as with the more usual flat carriers.
However, it can be folded completely flat if preferred. The unit also folds out towards the back of the vehicle to form a ramp up which a heavy load can be more easily dragged onto the flat part of the rear carrier. This ramp can also be removed and quickly fitted to provide a similar use for the front carrier.
The winch - this is a Warn electric winch and is remotely operable. It can be simply removed from the front and attached to the rear of the machine, or attached to the top of the roll cage for use in dragging anything very heavy up the ramp to either front or rear carrier.
