This is a fully functioning custom dune buggy. Approximately 45 horsepower! It has a 1971 Sach's 440 cc snowmobile engine that runs perfect! Original pull start. The body is fiberglass with a steel frame, that came from an early 70's Rupp Ruppster dune buggy. It has a fully custom welded roll cage, seat belts, new tires, hubs, bearings, wheels, mechanical caliper brakes, roll cage mounted LED lights, custom exhaust, new seat cover, new firewall made from 1/4" aluminum new drive belt, new fan belt (it is air cooled). Everything on this dune buggy has either been rebuilt or replaced by me, over the past year. I have over 100 hrs in reconditioning this thing, and over $2000 invested. I don't know of any complete ruppster that is like it, or as fast. The only thing it could use is a new paint job and minor body work. It can be ridden as is with zero issues. Top speed of about 50 mph, but it gets there instantly. Local pickup only, and cash in hand for a test ride. This IS NOT a street legal dune buggy.
