Here is a very nice "Survivor."This 1949 C18 was owned by a small electric co-op for the last 61 years, it was stored indoors and used sparingly. In 1993, it was loaned to the local search and rescue division of the sheriff's office, mostly for PR purposes. In 1996, it went back into storage until I purchased it this year, (2016).I changed the oil, cleaned the carb, and bypassed the fuel tank, it then fired up and ran great. (video of the running motor is available)Old maintenance records, which will be included in the sale indicate the following:1987-new fuel tank. (it will need to be removed and flushed, but is very solid and serviceable).1987-converted to 12V electrically1987-Sportsman propane heater added1993-major engine overhaul1993-new tracks (both sides) some new cross links are included1993-new paint with S.A.R lettering, updated the interior. Original finish was varnished plywood. The paint is flaking, but the wood is very solid. Overall, this unit is in very good condition, it wouldn't take much to have it in service this season. All glass is good, all the lights work. The most serious damage is to the rear hatch. (see pictures). Radiator has "clean and green"  antifreeze solution in it. There is a Miller 18' tilt top trailer with clear title included in the sale. The tires hold air, but will need to be replaced to be used for transport. If you have any further questions or would like me to email you the video of the engine running, please email or call Troy @ 573-374-4668 or my cell 573-569-3466. This Snow bus is located in Langdon, ND, and will need to be picked up there.
