Polaris Magnum liquid cooled 500cc 4WD automatic quad bike 2001 model.Suit restorer/someone who knows how to maintain and repair as its very expensive to get done professionally as I have (see attached receipt after leaving it on my farm for a year without starting it - paid $700 to get it serviced and going properly again. Prior to that I paid $600 for service at Tamworth cycles).Bike is in ok condition (drives ok) but has lots of scratches/ware and tear, diff leaks oil. Mechanic says hard to find parts for these nowadays and if something goes it could be hard to repair. Carburetor pin is worn and engine is running rich as a result (but I can't tell the difference). Currently has no working brakes (disconnected by mechanic) but I still drive with it in reasonable safety with compression of engine to stop it. Starts first time with key and can start with pull starter as well.Strong engine, towbar, 4wd - will go anywhere.I have kids now who want to ride it and I can't restore it to safe operating without big expense.Make no mistake it requires repairs to brakes for safe operating, has lots of scratches, dings, split plastic, unoriginal stuff like front bull bar etc - this is not a perfect specimen!
