Up for sale is a custom built, Volkswagen powered sand rail / dune buggy. The vehicle is street legal, and is titled as self-assembled in 2012. It has current Ohio state inspection, tags, and VIN plates. It can be driven legally today. There is less than 1,200 miles on the complete rebuild, and less than 600 miles on the brand new 1641 Volkswagen engine with dual carburetors. It has a Volkswagen 4 speed standard transmission with new clutch. The chassis was stripped and professionally fabricated to my liking, then powder coated before reassembly. All components including wheels, tires, brakes, wiring, lighting, steering, fuel system, seating and restraints on the vehicle are brand new within the last 1,200 miles.
