If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay for longer than any other powerports seller and find nice used machines to sell, weekly. This week I found the NICEST used Sportsman 500 I have ever owned. It has the $1000 Polaris Glacier plow already attached. It would be the last ATV you would ever have to buy. Most people feel the 1996-2004 Polaris Sportsmans were the best ATV's ever built. They seem to outlast the new models that Polaris makes and they have downhill braking feature, recoil backup starter, and all the axles and drivetrain are about twice the size of what is now manufactured. The 2002 sold for right at $7000 new. A 2016 is cheaper in both price and quality. Think of the early Sportsman as the CJ5 of the ATV world. Tough as nails! This one has just 2203 miles on it. No fade on the fenders (has always been inside) still shiny and the front rack doesn't even look like it has anything slide across it. Truly a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10. This one also has the coveted H shift pattern that had considerably less friction than the newer I style and so runs stronger. It is as nice of an ATV as you could ever find and when you hit the switch it barely rolls over before it lights up. It is just one of "those" machines that you seldom find. If you have been looking for the exceptionally nice early Sportsman than this is your machine. I doubt you could ever find one nicer. It has close to afoot of ground clearance, electric start with recoil backup, downhill braking, long travel fully independent suspension, McPherson strut fronts for the extra sharp turning radius and the 6 ply Goodyear tires that last seemingly forever. I am listing this machine with a buy it now of only $3995 (about half of new for a 95% new machine) with no reserve.I am happy to deliver to Salina, KS or Loveland, CO for free or an extra 100 miles for $100. Email or call 303.880.3975 with questions.
