Description
Condition: Used Year: 1972
Model: 1st Gen Make: Attex

This is a 1st gen Attex 6x6 ATV. It was built into a racer, a commemoration to the factory Attex's that raced in the 1969 Baja 500. The body has been modified to tip like a dragster or be fully removed from the chassis. Having this function is priceless when wrenching before an event. Not only is it a representation of history, but you can race in the NEEDT series with other 6x6's as it follows rule spec:-roll cage
-5 point harness
-belt guard
-chain guard
-tuned racing pipeThe engine is a 503cc Ski-Doo. We had the engine rebuilt and added new synced Mikuni carbs. It drives a Baker Hill transmission. #195 was raced in the 2013-2015 seasons. In 2015, it was in a rollover that caused body damage which is highlighted in the photos above. It was repaired and raced at the following track in New York. We haven't started the machine since. #195 earned a couple 1st places.Axles are upgraded to 1 1/4'' with larger bearings. These are much stronger than original axles, and have been proven to not bend like the 1'' axles on jumps. The hubs have been upgraded to a 5 bolt lug pattern to run modern rims. It's being sold as an unverified non-runner with no tires/rims. The chains will need attention. As seen in the pictures, the frame has been slightly tweaked from the rollover and will need porta-power'd back into shape to keep the chain from skipping off when loose. This Attex is located in Shipshewana, IN at the Mudd-Ox factory. You can pick up the atv or have it shipped. It is also listed locally, and the auction may end early.
