Suzuki LTF250, 4 WD with Reverse Quad Bike Hello and welcome to the sale of my Suzuki LTF250, 4x wheel drive Quad with reverse and she also has full electrics to the rear for towing purposes and a working kill switch cable in red but I haven’t used them. Not certain of the year but I think it is between 1998/2002. I’ve had this for a couple of years, bought it with a missing key. I replaced the speedometer as the previous one was damaged and had the starter motor bushes replaced and I had purchased a new handle bar control unit as the original had seen better days (Not installed fully as I haven’t the time). I also had a new battery installed when I bought it, other than that I have had little use out of it. She was running perfectly last year so I had it fully serviced before putting her away throughout the winter, which included a new spark plug, oil, air and fuel filter. You can see from this that I have made certain she is looked after well. Although she served me well I am having to sell her as she isn’t running the way I need her to and I don’t really know what is wrong with her. I can get her to run; unfortunately she cuts out as soon as I let go of the accelerator. The only way I can keep it running is to hold the accelerator on, which is not practical. To eliminate the obvious I had a new ignition coil installed and I also had a carb rebuild performed by a local ATV specialist, but I still can’t get her to settle. Brakes work well and it goes into every gear, high and low as it should, as you can see it is cosmetically fine, but you must take into consideration that she has been used on a farm; therefore you will see age related marks. Nevertheless she still has a lot of life left in her. It really is a shame having spent a great deal of time and money into her; I simply cannot afford to do anything else with it; besides my wife won’t let me spend any more time or money, so she has to go. The Battery cover was already missing when I purchased it and there has been some repair work to the fibre shell on the N/Side front, which is not noticeable. The cage is in immaculate condition as you can see from the pics (Just been washed down). I have priced her to sell, so no silly offers below the asking price (bid to buy or make me a good offer) – Please remember the cost I have already put into this, she will come with all of the above, so you’re getting an absolute bargain; even though I hadn’t the time to install the control unit. Someone with more experience than me will certainly bring her to her former glory; It is a shame to see her go.
