Thank You For LookingWhat you are seeing is apparently VERY Rare and working 1977 DEMM Smily. From what you see in picture 2- what I purchased and started out with (WAS not Pretty). After painstakenly reworking and reassembling I found myself with a Demm Smily.Here is what I know -
Vin number is on Frame but since its 40yrs old its virtually unreadable
Moped was originally at one time red/orange but since paint wasn't salvagable my son wanted it blue
It would be worth alot more if it had original decals - but it had been painted about 15 times over the years.
It still has original seat but does need re-appolstry. The MOTOR RUNS GOOD - but could use a better tuner than me (mixture could use adjustment). The Left pedal is slightly bent but is very rideable, i purchased new Tires. The Headlight/ Tail Light / brake light all work, I have horn but not installed.
Total project is 98% done and my son is using now, you could also RIDE now or finish final touches (switches should be replaced)(seat redone)..
I have done the research .. I have PRICED TO SELL sale includes handshake and a thank you, new buyer will be responsible for titling,registering and arranging pickup .It runs and goes great and is a ton of FUN!!
