Titled as a 1974 Volkswagen. Titled, registered, and tagged in my name. 100% street legal in North Carolina. Dual port engine, dual exhaust, freeway flyer transmission 4 speed. It will cruise at 75 all day long. Tires are new on Pacer Bullet hole aluminum wheels. Pans are new with 0 signs of rust anywhere. Seats are not VW. Not sure what they are from, but they recline and adjust front to back. They are covered with nice seat covers. Seats need recovered underneath, but look great with covers. It has a Pioneer cd/stereo with 4 - 6 1/2 inch speakers that are very loud. Clearly heard at highway speed. This buggy has a 4 point roll bar. Roller pedal, empi shifter, new brakes, master cylinder, and aligned. 700 dollars of resent work done. Has seat belts front and rear. I am sure I have left lots out. I will revise listing as I think of what I left out. Runs great, stops great, and handles great! Shifter knob shown in pictures is not included. You will get the standard Empi knob. Now for the known issues. 1. Drips a little oil as 95% of Volkswagens do. 2. Turn signal light on the speedometer blinks continually. All bulbs have been changed out and signals and brake lights work normally. My VW mechanic said it is probably a loose ground wire. 3. The alternator light stays on. Battery seems to charge normally and the battery has never run down on me. Even after driving it all day with the stereo blasting the whole time. Please don't bid if you don't have the cash to pay for it. Please don't bid if your wife will tell you that you can't buy it. Please don't bid if you are a new eBay member.
