Custom one off TRIKE - Spares or Repairs Professionally built and fully registered Trike for sale as spares or repairs. Not sure what is wrong with it as I am not that mechanically minded. I went out for a ride last weekend, during which the oil pressure light flashed as I was cornering, so I headed for the nearest garage to go get some oil. Never got to the garage, the Trike cut out and I ended up sitting on the side of the A1 for 3.5 hours waiting for a recovery truck!! The Trike now has no Electric Power. I’ve tested the battery and the fuses, and they all seem ok, but when you turn the key, the instrument panel is dead – so power is not getting from the battery to wherever its meant to go next! The recovery man told me to put it in first and we rocked it and he said he could hear the “engine compression” and said it was good news that the engine wasn’t seized. I’ve personally no idea, but did the same when I got home and as I rocked her I could hear a kind of “puff” as it moved. It might be a quick fix for those in the know, or it may need a new lump – I have no idea. She was serviced just before MOT, which included full Carb strip and rebuild by a local bike expert. Looking to sell for spares or repairs for a reasonable price, which will leave a lot of meat on the bone for the purchaser if they decided to fix and sell on. If buying to fix and do yourself – its a bargain.. Sold as Seen with receipt V5C and MOT certificate, but no warranty, as listed as Spares or Repairs. I was offered £5k last year, whilst out for a ride, but it wasn’t for sale as it was one of my weekend toys! It is registered as a Yamaha XV750 Tricycle, its a hard tail (No rear suspension) therefore better handling. The current engine is a Suzuki GSX1100G (1127cc) which is/was shaft drive and the rear axle I believe is from a reliant. The Frame was professionally made from Tube, so is lightweight and strong, and stands out as a Professional one off trike, not something someone welded together in their shed from off cuts of metal like a lot of them.. Fully registered in my name at my home address, with V5C present. Current MOT expires 19th May 2017. So once running (Fix or engine transplant) ready for the road. Sad to see her go, but willing too as got another long term project I need to get finished. OFFERS OVER 2K WILL BE CONSIDERED.
