BRP Can-Am® COMMANDERTM electric side-by-side vehicle  The Can-Am Commander electric side-by-side vehicle is taking the off-road vehicle to a place  it’s never been. For users that love getting outdoors and are making choices every day to make a  difference, the result is an amazing cross-over vehicle that allows you to work and play with no  gas or CO2 emissions. Giving up on carbon emission and noise, not on capability  BRP’s Can-Am Commander electric side-by-side vehicle is 100% electric and delivers strong  acceleration and a top speed of 40 km/h. With no internal combustion engine, it glides  nearly silently so you can enjoy the outdoors. A maintenance-free lead acid battery pack easily plugs into a standard household electrical  outlet. The 48-V cooled electric motor and AC induction provides peak power of 30 hp. Coupled to a  regenerative braking system, it charges your batteries.  The electric rear differential is open to provide better handling on the road and is turf friendly.  However, when conditions warrant, it may be locked for maximum traction.  Range from 40 to 160 km depending on usage cycle. We focused on the one feature that matters most: The users 
Every inch of the Can-Am Commander vehicle’s interior was designed with the occupants in mind. The result is more comfort, adjustability and storage than any other side-by-side vehicle.  Getting in and out of the extra roomy cockpit is easy with wide openings. Both driver and  passenger ride in premium bucket seats with lumbar support. And the driver’s seat slides forward  and back while the steering wheel tilts so every driver finds just the right position.  We created the maximum versatility to carry various types, size and amount of cargo to please  the very broad profile of users. The dual-level cargo-box is an industry first, enabling you to load, say, your valuables in a  lockable lower bed and your gear or groceries in the upper bed. Or remove the panel for a single  bed – total capacity is a whopping 272 kg (600 lb). Freedom to go nearly anywhere 
The Can-Am Commander electric vehicle is designed to take you beyond where most electric  vehicles can: off the beaten path.  The chassis with full roll cage is strong and the front and rear suspensions are state-of-the-art,  keeping you in total control and comfort no matter the terrain. Four-wheel-drive mode engages  with the push of a button for added traction.  An on-road low-speed vehicle package with windshield, turn signals, mirrors, horn and D.O.T.
