1960 VESPA 150 VBB (I-186) If you are looking for a very collectable Vespa, that is also a bike you can ride and enjoy, it would be hard to do better than the VBB1 series.This one is a beauty in tip top shape.Introduced in 1960 the VBB1 set the pattern for all Vespas that followed for the next 10 years and influenced Vespa design and engineering for even longer..  The enclosed headlamp fairing, superb lines and curves, and artful details were accompanied by a complete re-engineering of the powertrain. A new rotary valve engine was more powerful and very much more reliable than previous version, with increased pep and better running character.  The 4-speed transmission is bulletproof and allows this scoot to comfortably cruise at 50 MPH.Chassis upgrades provided improved handling and suspension, best of the 8" wheel models.This 1960 Vespa 150 is one of the most important Vespas historically.  For a decade, it was the standard Vespa.
