This is a 1998 Polaris xplorer 400 4x4 atv. This machine runs and drives as it should. It has a 400 liquid cooled, oil-injected 2 stroke motor. This is true automatic, with high, low and reverse. It has push button 4 wheel drive, can be switch on or off while moving. One a scale of 1 to 10, (10 being perfect) I would give this about an 8. It has 3184 miles on it, it could use new tires, the rears are about 20-30 % tread, the fronts are about 30-40%. They are original. The rims had the normal silver paint that flaked off. EVERYTHING on this machine works as it should, and it has no damage. Speedometer works, 4x4 works good, brakes all work, electric and pull start both work, there's no breaks or cracks, seat is good, the cooling system all works. It shifts great, doesn't jump out of any of the gears. The chains, sprockets and front shafts are all good. The clutches are good. The motor just had the following and has 2 hours use on it, New wiseco piston and rings, rod bearing, crank shaft bearings and seals, counter balance bearings, new waterpump bearings and seals, and oil injector. This was all put in new due to a head gasket went out and filled the lower end with antifreeze. It runs and drives outstanding! These are great dependable machines, and this one has ALOT of life left in it. This is located in butternut, wi, zip code 54514. It can be picked up here. We are approx. 2 hours northwest of Wausau wi. This will come with a bill of sale, as Wisconsin does not issue titles for atvs. I will get a current Wisconsin dnr registration card for it if your state requires it.
